Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Webb Bridge

The Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Webb Bridge Radiology Center recently received their ACR accreditation for CT. We are so proud of this new center and the goals they have accomplished in just 13 short months. This accreditation comes on the tail of their US accreditation in July of this year, and precedes their MRI accreditation to be completed in the fall.

The need for the new location is underscored by projections that the pediatric population of the counties surrounding the new facility will increase more than 12 percent by 2009. The 6,000-square-foot freestanding facility in Alpharetta is one of the first of its type in Georgia.

Children's at Webb Bridge Radiology Center offers a complete range of services for the evaluation of pediatric disease including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) capabilities, as well as other general radiography, fluoroscopy and ultrasound services. In addition to these services, Children's offers dedicated pediatric sedation services. Children's at Webb Bridge Radiology Center is the only radiology center in the state offering sedation services tailored for the pediatric population.
